Meet the #PremierFam
Co-Director
UA Rise 15U - Head Coach
UA Future 14U - Assistant Coach
Colin Grove
We started Idaho Premier in 2018 with two teams of scrappy sophomores and sometimes its hard to believe where we are now! I am so grateful to each and every player and parent who has trusted us with your club basketball experience. When we say #PremierFam, we mean it, and my players know that that I am always there for them both on and off the court.

I grew up in San Marcos, CA where I played basketball, football, volleyball & ran track most of my life. After high school I continued my education and basketball career at Golden West College and the Utah Valley University. I moved to the beautiful state of Idaho almost 12 years ago where I met my wife who, luckily, loves sports and coaching just as much as I do.

With over 15 years of coaching experience, I can honestly say that there are very few places I would rather be than helping these young men improve as a player and a person every time they step on the court. Having played travel club ball myself, I understand the value of playing these competitive tournaments and getting in front of the coaches, as well as making memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

This year will be Idaho Premier's best year yet, and I can't wait for all the great opportunities available to our Premier Family.

I first want to start off by saying I love this #PremierFam! The players, parents and coaches all make this program possible & successful, and I can't thank you all enough for helping create this place for athletes to thrive and accomplish their goals.
I grew up in a small town in Northern California. I played both soccer and basketball competitively and in high school. During my senior year I had offers for both basketball and soccer, but ultimately chose my first love, soccer. By accepting an offer to play D1 soccer at Sacramento State University, I became the first athlete in my high school's history to go on to play college sports. From there I played soccer for The California Storm WPSL while working at Bradshaw Christian School as the Elementary Athletic Director and the Assistant AD for middle and high school. During my time at Bradshaw I coached middle school volleyball, middle school girls soccer, varsity boys soccer, and varsity girls basketball. In 2013 I helped coach the girls basketball team to their 6th CIF Section Championship in a row.

These days my world revolves around my two daughters and getting kids on the basketball court. Go Premier!

Chris Hunter
I am currently the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for a company I also co-Founded in 2008. For the last 15+ years I have worked diligently to grow Clearfly. With nearly 10,000 customers in 48 states and a consistent 20% + year-over-year growth I am extremely proud of what I have helped create there.
With that said my true passion is basketball. I was extremely fortunate to grow up in the hoop culture of Seattle where I was taught the game by hall of fame coaches. On the court I was an all-conference and all-state tournament performer in High School. In College I was 1 st team all-NWAC at Centralia Community College and later a starter, captain, and voted MVP on my team at Seattle University.
I look forward to the challenge of helping these young men achieve their highest performance on the court and their maximum potential off the court.
Unsigned Seniors - Head Coach
Brent Chapman
I love coaching and teaching young men the game of basketball. I place an emphasis on a positive mentality and approach to the game so a player can unlock his full potential. Full effort in practice as well as games, being a good teammate, and good body language are also principles of importance in my coaching philosophy.
